Personal Reflection- Two things I am good at are doing my work and trying to hand it in on time, and doing my work in class and paying attention Two things I need to improve on are my test/quiz marks for math. I also need to improve on getting aloud with the kids in my class. Term 1 Math Reflection The first term in grade eight was really interesting . Because we started of learn about Rate, Ratio, and Proportional Reasoning. Rate is when you compare two quantities measured in different units like k/m and m/s . Proportional Reasoning is a relationship that says that two ratios or rates are equal. Ratio is which the second term is one. We also learned Two-Term ratio, Three-Term ratio , Part to whole ratio. Two-Term ratio is when you compare two quantities measured in the same units. Three-Term ratio when you compare three quantities measured in the same units.Part to whole ratio is I did most of my work during most of the term, but sometimes i would not do it because i would be busy or i would have to do other things. I think i would do better next term on my test, and i will do all my homework in math.

Term Two Reflection
In term two we learned about percent , Surface Area , and volume they were all kinda hard and some were really easy and i really enjoy learning about theses subjects. I did well on Volume because i understood what i was doing and i got the hang of it faster. I think i Struggled in surface area because i didn’t really under stand it and it was kinda hard for me. I will do better in surface area , and percent and try to get it and ask for help when i need it. In percent learned how to find 100 and divided it by 100.

I was required to compose a friendly letter using a short story. Intent why: am i completing this assignment?
There are several reasons I am doing this writing assignment. First i learned the elements of a short story and learned to identify them in our story. Next we learned the componets to write in a friendly letter format , then we applied specific story details and wrote in the first person as if we were a character from the short story.
Criteria : How do i know what i needed to do to be successful in completing this assignment?
- Use proper friendly letter format from referring to letter frame.
- Compose the rough copy letter using specific details from the short story and write the letter from the prespctive of one of the main character in the story.
- Remember to use appropiate tone and audence for the letter.
- Compete all steps n the writting process as set out in the assignments directions

In Electronics we made PC bordes. We learned how to uses the tools in the room it was really fun because we also made the PC bordes lit up.
In Cooking we learned how to make different kinds of food like pizza , puff wheat cake , spaggatti and salad , Quesadilla's and stir fied rice. They were all really good and before we started we made groups or table groups and i was in a table group with ,Krizna , Jennily , Olivia , and Sophia. We had assignments that we had to do or we would't be able to cook next class , we also had 2 tests they were really easy because they were all about food safty and how to handle foods.
In Sewing we learned how to use the machine and also we learned who to sew it was really fun because we mad pajama pants and they looked really good . We had table groups and in my table there was Me , Krizna , Jennily , and Olivia . My machine was janome and used that machine n grade 7 to .
